Week beginning 18th May 2015
First I’d to say a huge congratulations to Year 6 for the way that they conducted themselves this week during their SATS week. We are so proud of how you tackled a difficult week of tests and how positive you all remained throughout. Well done! We’re not quite finished yet with a big focus still on Writing as we prepare for the collation of these results on the 10th June so keep up the fantastic attitude that you are demonstrating!
Well done also to Class 2 who led our class assembly this morning, telling us the humorous story of Cinderboy. You were fab!
Coming up next week …
On Monday morning Coulsdon Library will be visiting Key Stage One in their classes to read stories relating to their topics to them.
On Thursday we have a special menu for lunch, which you should have received notification about over the last week. The school gets part of its funding based on the number of children that take up school dinners, particularly within Reception and Key Stage 1. We would urge you to encourage your child to have a school dinner on this day so that we can ensure we get the maximum funding that we are entitled to. This helps to make sure we are well resourced. Please see below for the details.
