School Opens:   8:45am.                          School Closes:    3:15pm.
Break:  10.40am-11.00am.

There are currently 420 children in the school, with a waiting list for most age ranges. The school has 14 classes in total catering for the full ability range across Early Years, KS1 and KS2 of the National Curriculum.  Class teachers assume responsibility for the children’s welfare and for the delivery of the Curriculum, but planning is a shared activity.  Due to its popularity and government funding the school moved to two forms of entry as of September 2009 this meant that we changed from vertical grouping to straight aged class teaching.  The school has benefitted from having a brand new extension to the building housing all the infant classes.  Also newly built are the school offices, ICT and music rooms and kitchen.

Morning Routine

On arrival to school, the children will line up in the playground. At 8:45am the whistle is blown and the children are escorted into class by their teachers.

Children are considered late if they arrive after 9am and will need to report to the school office.
