Week Beginning 13th July 2015
I really cannot believe it is the last week of term already, time has really flown by this term.
Firstly our Jump Rope for Heart on Friday was an enormous success, many thanks to Mr Blundell for organising this. Huge thanks to the Year 5 and Year 6 children who led the activities and ensured the children had a great time. If the children could bring all the money in by Wednesday next week, that would be greatly appreciated.
Also here is some advanced notice of Kenley fun day, on 26th July, which is a local community day that is held every other year on Kenley Common. The event has been running for 8 years and is open to everyone from the Kenley, Whtyeleafe, Purley, Caterham areas. It is a non-profit making group and nearly all activities on the day are free (with an optional donation bucket) so as to make it as inclusive as possible, people being encouraged to bring a picnic. It is a very uncommercial event, so no pitches are sold. Previous years attendances have been up to 3,500+ so it has grown to be a very popular local event. Should you wish for any further information please see the Facebook link below for some of the details.
