Week Beginning 11th March 2019
A huge well done to all the children who dressed up for World Book Day on Thursday, they all looked amazing (as did the staff). Many thanks to our parents and carers as well who put the costumes together, we think this year was the best yet! We hope the children enjoyed this week’s events and a big thank you to Mrs Randall, our English leader who organised the week.

A polite reminder, for reasons of Health and Safety, children should not wear jewellery to school. As per our uniform statement on the school website, earrings are not permitted on swimming and PE days, but plain studs may be worn on the days your child does not take part in sport. For this reason, we recommend that parents wishing to pierce their children’s ears wait until the summer holidays. If this is unavoidable please ensure that your child wears a plaster over his or her earring on swimming days to reduce the risk of them falling out and ending up in the bottom of somebody’s foot! Thank you.
We hope you have a great rest of Sunday night.
