Welcome to The Hayes Primary School, where together we aspire to be the best we can be.

We are a warm and vibrant school at the heart of our community and are proud of the education we offer our children and our successes. We believe passionately that a great education is one of the most precious gifts a child can receive. We want our children to enjoy their learning and we achieve this in an environment which fosters the fundamental values including respect, responsibility, empathy, positivity, self-belief, co-operation and tolerance.

Underpinning all we do is a belief that every moment a child is in school must be used effectively. If time is wasted it is lost forever and cannot be given back, therefore, our structures and policies are designed to maximise learning potential spent in school. Our excellent staff team are committed to ensuring the highest expectations for each and every child and this is supported through nurturing a love of learning, encouraging independent thinking, making experiences creative, varied and inclusive and developing skills for life. Although raising standards remains our main objective, we also have great provision and an excellent reputation for sport and the performing arts.

I am extremely privileged to work with a talented, dedicated and caring staff team who work hard to ensure that every child’s needs are met socially, emotionally, physically and academically whilst developing personal strengths. I am delighted and proud to be Head Teacher at The Hayes. Indeed, it is the children who make our school such a special place. Committed to the highest standards of teaching and learning achieved through a combination of challenge, support, fun, smiles, encouragement and praise; we will ensure that all pupils fulfil their potential.
