Welcome Back

We have had a great start to our first week back at school. As part of the conclusion to the IPC topic The Circus is Coming to Town, Year 2 took part in a Circus workshop. The children had a thoroughly enjoyable day and in the afternoon put on an exhilarating performance to their parents. If you went I am sure you were all dazzled by the children’s skills. Photos are uploaded to the Gallery of our website.

Next Week:

On Monday 6th November we are running a parent workshop on Safeguarding at 2pm, if this is something you would like to attend can you please sign up on the PTA events page or contact the school office. If you are attending this session, please do buzz yourself into the school and wait in the foyer to be collected. Thank you.

 

Our parents evenings are on Tuesday 14th November (330pm-5pm) and Thursday 16th November (330pm-8pm). We will be holding a Remembrance Day assembly on Friday 10th November.

 

Additionally on Friday, our mixed football team have a home league match against Kenley, kick off time is 4pm.

 

Future Events: Anti Bullying Week is from Monday 13th November – Friday 17th November. The theme is: All Different/All Equal and our children will take part in a range of activities and workshops during the week. Anti-bullying wrist bands will be on sale for £1, available from your child’s teacher (first come, first served). To kick off the week on Monday 13th November, we will be having an ‘Odd Sock Day’ to demonstrate our differences. Please dress your child in odd socks for the day, the brighter the better! J
